Swiss Trainer 3m (1:3,3)

Hi,

I have a question about the power, and if someone have heard about it or have some real experience. I have an old Bruckmann Swiss trainer 3 meter. This plane will be used for towing.

It doesn’t have an engine yet, but I have a old 3W 150ccm that I’m considering to use. Will that work? The previous owner used king 95 on it, but with 3-400g weight in the nose as well.

I guess the question will be if the propeller will be too long or if I can use shorter propeller with greater pitch.

Ich habe eine Frage zur Macht und ob jemand davon gehört hat oder echte Erfahrung hat. Ich habe einen alten Bruckmann Schweizer Trainer 3 Meter. Dieses Flugzeug wird zum Abschleppen verwendet.

Es hat noch einen Motor, aber ich habe einen alten 3W 150ccm, den Sie verwenden möchten. Wird es funktionieren? Der Vorbesitzer verwendete King 95, aber auch mit 3-400 g Gewicht in der Nase.

Ich denke, die Frage wird sein, ob der Propeller zu lang ist oder ob ich einen kürzeren Propeller mit größerer Steigung verwenden kann.

I have a King 100 in my 3m Swiss Trainer with 3 blades. I don't know the size out of my head, but there is not much room. If the field has some minor holes, I touch grass and very rarely ground with it.
Adding a bigger motor means you need a bigger sized prop. That might cause some issues! Bigger Pitch with a big profile on the wings will not bring much other than burning fuel.
I have NO speed issue with my king 100 even with bigger acrobatic gliders btw.
