FS 4000 VXL (Sport Klemm): Erfahrungen!

Also ich mag mich täuschen tun.... aber ich hab weder bei Gerd noch bei Volker in irgendeinem Diagramm 108A nach 10 Sekunden Motorlauf gefunden....

Für mich klingt das nach "hier stimmt was nicht". Ich denke hier ist mal interessant eine Leerlaufdrehzahl zu haben. Dann sieht man gleich ob die Wicklung passt..... Normal sind irgendwas zwischen 70 und 80A mit der LS10...

Auch wenn im Elsass (ganzem Frankreich) seit 4 Wochen nicht geflogen werden darf, kann man diese schwere Zeit zu Fluggeräten Überprüfung benutze, zB Höhenruder Metallklips im VXL.
Hier alles IO in Ordnung.

Hello everybody,

Just a few lines from France -sorry I don't speak German- to show you my brand new VXL.
No flights yet because of the virus, but time enough to prepare the glider at home.

A few pictures :












Battery and socket using Velcro strips











Position can be adjusted along the white strip. I'll put repairs on after balancing.

Kit is the up to date one, I added Unisens-E to use with Jeti transmitter. Battery is a Gens Ace 6S 2700 mAh, total weight is 4930 g.

Now waiting for first flights, but not before the end of May I'm afraid.

One question : I saw in the forum that some of you let the receiver antennas inside the fuselage. Don't you get any reception problems if you fly far away ? I intend to let the antennas outside.
I would be pleased to read you.

Ich suche nur Rumpfheck/Leitwerksträger einer FS 4000 / FS 4000 VXL.
Vielleicht hat ja jemand von euch hier noch so etwas (von einem Bruch) übrig.
Ich weiß , gehört eigentlich in die Rubrik Börse/Suche.......
aber hier erhoffe ich mir eher eine entsprechende Antwort.

Hello,

this isn't a carbon fuselage, so there are zero worries putting the antennas inside. Just build up the antenna spots shown in our pictures before. You should put the rx cable underneeth your receiver casing and get it proper fixed to it. In your actual installation there is a hugh risk pulling of the servo cables out of your receiver when you take off your wing for servicing lipos...etc. You should take this adivse seriously. I like the way of your clean installation

Et oui à Paris même si je suis plutôt du Sud-Ouest ! Donc le VXL dans l'appartement ce n'est pas facile... Mais comme tout est bizarre aujourd'hui avec le confinement, j'en profite pour terminer les derniers travaux.

I really like your minimalistic design of your VXL. I´m pretty sure you will love this bird flying!!! It´s one of the outstanding allrounders i´ve ever had.

Ne, mal im ernst: die Sport- Klemm Modelle sind einfach sowas von schön, habe mir neulich einen 2,5 m D- Box Flieger als " Immer Dabei- Modell" zugelegt, als ich mit dem Ausbau fertig war, kam die Frage: "Warum eigentlich..."

I checked the TP and measured current with the Unisens-E : full power, fuselage in hands, I reach 112 Amp. I understand that in flight this current should be around 80 Amp.
