I'm thinking of moving to the 2,4ghz system from JETI mainly due to the fact that their full range receivers have low power consumption (40mah for a R6versus 27mah for my 35mhx SMC16SCAN), have a MX24s module and a bi-directtonal height meter (1 gram!).
What I don't like is putting the antenna's on the outside of my Salpeters.. Most 2.4 DLG's I see have the antenna's going out at the side of the fuse (middle of the nose) with about 45 degrees to the fuse pointing backwards.
Is anyone happy with an alternative way of putting the antennas outside the fuse? I was thinking of one antenna straight up just before the wing and on taped at the bottom (outside ofcourse) in flying direction.
Anybody know if this will work correct?
